Application of Industrial CT in Detection of New Energy Battery

New Energy Battery have been booming in recent years, but several fires of explosions have raised some public doubts about their safety, alarming the industry and prompting scientists to conduct more analysis of battery failures.

According to current inspection methods, Industrial CT or X-RAY are the most powerful tools for New Energy failure detection. Industrial CT or X-RAY inspection methods were used can not only observe the internal structure of the battery in a nondestructive state, but also enlarge the battery sample by a hundred times to find subtle defects.

For example: in terms of the aging degree of the buttery, Industrial CT an be used to compare the evolution of the overall internal structure of the battery after different cycles in details. in terms of potential battery safety hazards, Industrial CT scanning samples were used to analyze the characteristics of electrode fracture, electrode fold, pole alignment and internal foreign materials in the computed tomography images, and the internal structure of the battery after safety test was analyzed.

Our company has rich experience in the field of Industrial CT detection of New Energy Battery. We have Phontom 7600/Global XT 7600/Global XT 7800/Xinspector 3000 and other Industrial CT machines. We can also provide customized services according to customer's requirements.
